Look no further for your preparedness survival needs. Creek Stewart’s books are all you need. After reading his books, I feel so prepared for disasters and you will too.

He lives Ezekial 38:7  “Be thou prepared, and prepare for thyself, thou, and all thy company that are assembled unto thee, and be thou a guard unto them.”

I have never met a more enthusiastic avid energetic outdoorsman and survivalist in all my life than Creek Stewart. His smile is contagious and he is a wealth of knowledge. His energy spills over into the pages of his awesome books. I am a proud owner of The Unofficial Hunger Games Wilderness Survival Guide and Build the Perfect Bug Out Bag, both of which are not only incredibly informative, but outrageously entertaining!

THIS GUY IS THE REAL DEAL. He lives and breathes surviving and has a driven quest to help prepare others to be prepared. He is logical, sound, and very clear and thoughtful in his instruction. Creek lives and breathes this statement, “It’s not IF but WHEN” and takes you through the paces of the “if” situations then gives you a plan for “when” it happens.

I don’t think Creek misses one piece of the puzzle in The Unofficial Hunger Games Wilderness Survival Guide. He is inspired by the characters in the movie The Hunger Games and uses the characters to demonstrate his points of survival. He teaches in depth and gives step-by-step instructions about the skills used by Katniss, Peeta, Gale and their friends.

We all know that the core four basic human survival needs are shelter, water, fire, and food, but Creek goes way beyond that. He knows that attitude, having goals, having a plan, and “thinking like a victor” is really what saves you from making fatal decisions.

His easy direct way of communicating is absolutely addictive. I could not put the book down. Boy I was learning….I can’t wait to try it out! Well, on second thought I hope just to have it all in my head. He does recommend practicing your skills often so that you will make decisions with ease when the time comes to make them, for they will come.

I was in awe of the things you can do to collect water. Creek said, “I’ve collected a gallon of dew in less than one hour. The process is simple: Walk throufh as much dewy grass as possible and ring out the dew into a container….” So practical and yet I never would have thought!

I learned how to build a shelter using cattail plants, purify muddy water, find water, build a fire without even having the right tools, survival first aid, and how to navigate in the wilderness.interior-pages-unofficial-hunger-games-survival-guide-1-web-image

I loved this excerpt from the book: “Small rodent nests make awesome tinder bundles….YES, YOU WILL HAVE TO FIND ONE AND HOPE IT IS NOT OCCUPIED!!! Rodents don’t like to sleep in wet nests and go out of their way to build in a dry area. With a little effort, you can uncover a dry tinder bundle rodent nest even in a downpour of rain.” As much as I would hate to take a little home away from a cute small rodent, they have ready made tinder waiting just for me and I would not be able to pass that up!

Creek teaches you how to use small everyday things that could fit into a bug-out-bag (chapstick, vaseline, etc.) to help you survive. It is truly amazing!

Not only does Creek show you how to use everyday things, he teaches you how to make new things form the wilderness; pots, baskets, knives, and bow and arrows.

Creek is amazing. Aside from writing books he teaches disaster preparedness to individuals, corporations, nonprofit groups and government agencies across the United States. He has a huge survival and preparedness training facility in central Indiana. You can find all the information you need and book your preparedness session at www.willowhavenoutdoors.com
